About the album

In the Bible the Lion is portrayed as Strong, Independent, Nobility and a Conqueror (the conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah). In contrast, the Lamb is portrayed as meek, humble, a servant and lowly. This could not be more of an accurate portrayal of my new album. It is a dual album consisting of Nobleman pt. 2 and God FM. I released Nobleman pt. 1 about a year ago but I didn’t complete it because I felt like I wasn’t doing any justice to the songs that I wanted to make. You see, a lot of the music I am releasing now was written in 2017 and 2018, when I was in a much different headspace than I am in now, when I was fighting a different battle than I’m fighting now.

So when I started releasing the music of 2017/18 in 2020, my mind was telling me I couldn’t release this music because I am no longer in that place, so I only released a few songs on Nobleman pt. 1, but the truth is, those songs are still a part of my story, and when you are writing a story, you can’t leave out chapter 10 because you’re uncomfortable and immediately jump to writing chapter 12. So in the midst of last year my music began to move in a different direction. I began seeing things for what they could be instead of what they were, the problem was the music I had written in 2017/18 was much different from the music I was writing in 2020 and I didn’t know how to tell both sides of the story. The side of the Lion, a vicious cycle of mental, physical and spiritual anguish, and the only release I had was music, so I wrote what I felt, and, the side of the Lamb where I was starting to fight back, find God and find me. I don’t intend on being the next Drake, J Cole or Kendrick Lamar but music has been the best form of therapy for me thus far. This was the result.
